KANFA designs and builds complete process topside systems & modules for the Offshore Oil & Gas market. For FPSO Redeployment projects, we do not stop at delivering new modules, but we are also capable of upgrading existing systems.

This newbuilt Gas FPSO designed by Technip Energies/KANFA, was built by SembCorp Marine in Singapore. The topside modules, also fabricated in Singapore, were installed in 2019/2020.

Location: Gulf of Mexico
This newbuilt DP3 vessel, hull design by Inocean & topsides design by KANFA, was built in Northern Spain and the topside modules have been built in the same region. Integration took place in 2020 and KANFA was involved in the installation, hook-up, mechanical completion and commissioning.

Location: Ghana
KANFA delivered process modules for the FPSO John Agyekum Kufuor in 2016. All KANFA modules were fabricated by PTSC in Vietnam and the conversion yard for the tanker was Keppel Fels in Singapore. Engineering was executed in Oslo, KL and Vung Tau, Vietnam.

Location: North Sea – UK sector
The complete topsides for this FPSO were delivered in 2008. Fabrication was sourced from Norway and integration took place in Rotterdam. Engineering was executed in Norway with local partners.
Process Packages
Since starting up in 2000, KANFA has designed and delivered process packages for all topside systems required in the Oil & Gas market. We have extensive experience with the main process trains for oil, gas and water, in addition to all the required utility systems.
The designs we apply today are based on experiences we gained in the past. The Amine reclamation package for Equinor’s CO₂ Capture plant in Mongstad Norway back in 2010, formed the basis for the Energy Transition activities we execute today.

HRSG Modules for FLNG

KANFA has executed the delivery of four HRSG modules for the Golar GIMI FLNG project. The HRSG modules are part of a combined waste heat recovery / power plant that will recover heat to produce steam for process heat and power generation in steam turbines.
