KANFA is a leading provider of process engineering and modular process deliveries in the offshore floating production industry. Recent years, this expertise has been sought after also for process solutions in the energy transition where Carbon Capture has been in the core. However, there are also activities within the wider CCUS value chain, hereunder P2X which brings the company into the hydrogen domain. The hydrogen area is envisaged to be growing in the years to come with systems for both green and blue hydrogen.
KANFA is expanding its business areas and the sales activity in the company requires additional resources with special focus on the Nordic markets.
We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Tender Manager to join our team to handle tendering, clients, suppliers and partners in the Nordic regions.
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Tender Manager to lead our tendering activities in the Nordic markets. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving our growth strategy.
The Tender Manager Nordics (TMN) will primarily be responsible for developing and submitting tenders within the Nordics. As the sales team is adaptive and flexible, tasks within other domains and areas of the project development and execution phases may also be allocated. KANFA is a company where agile and multidisciplinary skills are essential.
Client dialogue and stakeholder management is essential and a part of the tasks, and you will communicate with clients and partners throughout the qualification and tendering phases as well as follow up these relations during execution and post-delivery. You will manage and deliver the tender to the client, supported by relevant resources, and follow up and clarify until an award.
The role will support the Business Development (BD) and pre-qualification work and represent the Company in this work within the overall T.EN organisation. The TMN for completing related quality processes, is responsible for implementing relevant internal operating procedures within this area, but also, externally, to be in dialogue with prospective clients and other stakeholders. For the tendering phase, resources may be provided to set up a tendering team, which will be led or supported by the Tender Manager Nordics.
The position rests within the BD, Sales & Tendering team which is completing its task in close collaboration with the Departments for Projects and Engineering.
Key responsibilities:
- Business Development: In coordination with the BD, Sales & Tendering team, support corporate activities to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Nordic markets, with a focus on the offshore industry.
- Sales: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our market presence.
- Tendering: Manage the entire tendering process, from initial inquiry to contract award, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities and competitive landscape.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management and finance, to develop comprehensive and competitive proposals.
- Compliance: Ensure that all tender submissions comply with company policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Project Execution: Have the flexibility to take on a project manager role for smaller studies and delivery projects, pending on resource situation.

What we want from you:
- Bachelor’s degree or more in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of proven technical experience from process design and fabrication industry, with project execution and delivery experience.
- Good business understanding and a Nordic network in relevant industries (process industry on- and offshore).
- Strong understanding of the Nordic markets and offshore industry dynamics, with Well development commercial awareness.
- Familiar with contracts and contractual terms.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex tenders and securing contracts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
