As part of the Norwegian government-sponsored Longship project, a carbon capture plant will be installed on Norcem’s cement facilities in Brevik, Norway. Aker Carbon Capture is main supplier of the carbon capture plant and has subcontracted to KANFA the CO2 Dryer package and the Amine Reclaimer package. Both packages will be delivered as complete skid assemblies ready tested for integration in the overall CCS plant.
KANFA will deliver the completed skid assemblies in 2022. First cut of steel for the skid structures has taken place and fabrication for this exiting project has started.
