As of August 2022, Knut Bredahl and Aleksander Bugge are appointed Co-Managing Directors of KANFA.
Knut will manage all the business development activities, Project Execution and Technology for KANFA and Aleksander will manage KANFA office activities and support functions (Finance, HR, legal issues, statutory and administrative functions).
Knut Bredahl joined KANFA in 2014 as Country Manager for Malaysia. After an experience in Sevan SSP with the responsibility of the business development activities, he returns in 2021 in KANFA as Director Energy Transition. He then led KANFA energy transition activities, ensuring the transfer of the company focus from fossil energy supply chain to low carbon-based solutions. With a master from the Norwegian University of Technology and Science in Chemical Engineering, Knut brings more than 24 years of experience.
Aleksander G. Bugge joined KANFA in 2008 as Project Controller and became Group Finance Manager in 2011. Since 2017 he has been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for KANFA with responsibilities for Group Accounting, Financial and Management Reporting, Treasury, Risk and Business/Project analysis, including legal issues and tender support. Aleksander brings 19 years of international experience from multinationals like Unilever PLC and Mowi ASA (previously named Marine Harvest ASA). He holds a master’s degree in Financial Analysis from University Carlos III de Madrid and a master’s degree in Business and Economics from Norwegian School of Economics.
